IFA 13th Global Conference on Ageing:
Disasters in an Ageing World — Readiness, Resilience and Recovery
|

Who’ll Come a-waltzing Matilda with the IFA in June 2016
Under the shade of a coolibah tree in a land down under, take some additional days to see a place of awe and sheer wonder…..The humble vegemite sandwich and their weird ‘Strine’ language. A land of giant kangaroos, and the noble Platypus, not quite mammal, fish or bird with a bill and fur it looks quite absurd. Then there is the Emu, they can’t fly but I’m telling you they can run the pants off a kangaroo! A land of deserts rich red and brown soil where there’s freedom to be breathed, in the warm air, whilst all around, beauty abounds in a land so fair!
Take some extra days for Far North Queensland (FNQ), a trip to the site of the oldest living rainforest on earth, the Daintree Rainforest. It is the only place in the world where two World Heritage-listed sites meet, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
Don’t miss the opportunity and while you are there come to the IFA’s 13thGlobal Conference on Ageing — neither the conference nor Queensland you disappoint you!! Take a look to see what you will miss by not going in this Tourism Queensland video.
